Helix Sleep markets hybrid mattresses manufactured with dual-layer covers, polyfoam comfort systems, and pocketed coil support cores fortified with polyfoam base layers. Helix Sleep Track Order
Helix Sleep offers complete mattress customization. Purchasers are requested to fill out a questionnaire that asks for their weight, height, firmness preferences, sleep position, and other options. Then based on these results, Helix Sleep will recommend one of the following 6 mattress models; each individual variant provides a one-of-a-kind combination of firmness and support:
- Helix Sunset: ‘Soft’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Moonlight: ‘Soft’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
- Helix Midnight: ‘Medium’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dusk: ‘Medium’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and extra support
- Helix Twilight: ‘Firm’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dawn: ‘Firm’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
Helix Sleep mattresses with targeted cushioning conform closely, which makes them perfect for those who sleep on their side. While those that have moderate cushioning don’t conform as much and are ideal for pretty much all sleep positions. Lighter men and women may feel most comfy on models with balanced support, while those that weigh 130 pounds or more tend to prefer the models with extra support.
Helix Sleep also offers 2 mattresses with dual-firmness, the Helix Dual Balanced (with balanced support and targeted cushioning) and the Helix Dual Extra (with moderate cushioning and additional support). Both these models have one ‘Firm’ side and one ‘Soft’ side, which makes them ideal for couples with different tastes. Lastly, the Helix Nightfall is a hybrid designed for bigger, heavier people. This mattress has an additional layer of memory foam for optimum support.
My review of Helix Sleep mattresses discovered that the customizable selection conforms to sleepers with a wide assortment of body types and firmness preferences. The mattresses also offer strong edge support, isolate movement well, and create less noise than the normal hybrid. Helix Sleep Track Order

Construction Helix Sleep Track Order
All 9 of the various iterations of this mattress will differ slightly in construction, but for 6 of the 9 models, the construction should be rather similar. The six core variants (listed above) are 10 inches tall, composed of 6 inches of individually wrapped coils and 4 inches of foam.
Helix mattresses differ in density and firmness depending on the foams utilized in order to attain more/less firmness and more/less support. The 4 different foams used within Helix mattresses are high-grade polyurethane foam, memory foam, Helix Dynamic Foam, and a DuraDense Foam (aka support foam). Not all of the beds have all of the foams – some only have 3 of the 4 – but it really shouldn’t matter much for the consumer. The foams are merely levers that Helix Sleep can pull in order to offer nine distinct variants (and supposedly have a mattress for everyone). Helix Sleep Track Order
Underneath, I briefly discuss the construction (materials and quality) of your average Helix mattress, the Helix Midnight.
Cover – Initially, all Helix mattresses have exactly the same cover, made of 100 percent polyester. I found it to be pliable and thin, allowing for some great breathability. However, if you want something more lavish, you can opt to swap out the normal cover for the brand’s UltraCool one, which is made up of a phase-change fabric for temperature regulation.
Comfort Layer – Up top, you will encounter a thick layer of memory foam. This type of foam has a slow reaction to pressure, meaning you’re likely to experience some gratifying body shaping. Even though it may seem strange for a supposedly medium firmness mattress to incorporate a memory foam layer, it’s important to remember that the existence of deep sinkage doesn’t necessarily translate to softness; in actuality, oftentimes it produces quite a firm feel.
Transition Layer – After getting past the memory foam comfort layer, you’ll uncover a transition layer of poly foam. This layer works to curb the sinkage of the memory foam and set a supportive, medium firm feel as you reach the individually wrapped coils below.
Support Layer – Most of the mattress consists of this section of individually wrapped coils. This system brings a supportive lift into the structure, working to position the sleeper “on top” of the mattress, as opposed to “in it”. Since the coils are individually wrapped, they are also going to encourage additional breathability as air flows through the spaces in the coils.
Base Layer – Last but not least, you will discover a thin segment of high-density poly foam. This section does not really affect the feel of the mattress too much, working mostly to give the pocketed coils something off of which to respond.
Firmness and Support
After having a look at the construction of the Helix mattresses, let us discuss their varying firmness levels and feels.
The firmness of the Helix will differ widely depending on which variant you choose. The Helix Midnight and Dusk, have medium firmness levels, which will be quite versatile and therefore very popular. If you are more particular, however, Helix Sleep is happy to provide you with more options.
Laying down on the Midnight, the memory foam layer feels soft and produces some top quality body contouring, while the other materials in the Midnight work to control this and create an overall firmer structure. The firmer support foams and individually-wrapped coils also help with re-positioning.
For those who sleep on their back, there is enough good comfort material here to conform to your lumbar while supporting your upper spine in a neutral position. For heavier sleepers or people who prefer a firmer bed, there are 2 more models for you in the Helix Dawn and Helix Twilight models.
Many side sleepers will feel perfectly comfortable on the Midnight, but, if you are needing a bit less pressure while still going with a versatile medium firmness, you might decide to take a look at the Helix Dusk, which utilizes a body-conforming latex-alternative foam that is breathable and provides the surface a little bit of bounce.
Side sleepers typically have to be mindful of pressure because they sleep with all of their weight on a tinier region. Those who are lighter than average or people looking for a lot of pressure relief may want to stick to the plusher variants.
Stomach sleepers should feel supported in the Midnight, particularly if this is not their primary position or they have a tendency to switch things up a lot. Firmer choices might be preferable for exclusive tummy sleepers so they can make sure their hips do not dip and over-arch their back.
Finally, Helix Sleep recommends Helix for sleepers up to 350 pounds or partners who weigh a maximum of 250 pounds each. If you or your spouse are substantially bigger than average, Helix has also created a mattress called the Nightfall that’s constructed to accommodate a combined weight of 1000 lbs.
Couples with different types of bodies or preferences may also select a dual comfort model that combines Firm with Plush.
Keep in mind that if none of these options sound right, you may always check out the 4 other mattresses in the new collection: the Sunset (plush, softer than the Moonlight), Dusk (moderate feel, a little firmer compared to the Midnight), Twilight (firm, designed for side sleepers), or Dawn (the firmest mattress of the bunch).
Now, let us talk about motion transfer, or the amount of activity that is noticeable from one side of the bed to the other. While this is going to be crucial for many people, those who doze with a partner may find it especially interesting as it’ll show just how bothered you will be by your partner’s nighttime movements. Based on my observation, Helix exceeds expectations for hybrid mattresses in this space because of the amount and quality of foam it incorporates, as well as the pocketed coils that help trap motion at its source. If you’re a light sleeper afraid that movement from the opposite side of the bed will bother you, you should not have a lot of concern with this hybrid. I would say that all of the Helix mattresses would be a good option for couples.
While buying a new mattress, the majority of men and women wish to know whether they’ll feel as though they are sinking “into” the mattress or lying “on top” of it.
While you may encounter a little immediate sinkage from the soft foam at the top, when you sink through these layers, you will find the pocketed coils and feel great support. This combo will interest a vast assortment of sleepers, but will satisfy stomach and back sleepers in particular.
While I do feel the foam compress as I sit near the edge of the bed, the coils stop the mattress from collapsing a lot . I feel quite secured sitting on the bed.
In my view, Helix mattresses are well above average for edge support compared to other bed-in-a-box brands, and this is due to their recently updated edges that contain reinforcement in the coil unit. There can be a little compression at the comfort foams when you sit with all your weight on the side, but lying on the side will feel comfy and secure. Couples who want more space to stretch out normally love strong edges.
Laying down, I feel like I could get close to the edge of the mattress without feeling like I’ll roll off or be pushed off the mattress. Overall, I think that the Helix has great edge support.
100 Night Sleep Trial
Among the best features of buying a mattress-in-a-box online is the sleep trials that they typically come with. Helix Mattress is no different. You customize the mattress that’s meant for you, place your order, and within a couple of weeks, it is sent to your door. From the moment you click to purchase the mattress, you have 100 nights to try it out (minus the time for delivery, so it’s more like 90 nights). If it isn’t what you wanted, you can return it for free of charge, and receive a complete refund.
If you do return the mattress, it is not restocked or resold. In fact, the company finds a local place to donate it. If there’s no way Helix can find a way to donate your returned mattress, it’s recycled instead. Helix Sleep Track Order
Helix offers a generous 10-year guarantee that covers defects, but it has limitations, exceptions, and the burden of proof is on the customer (like most warranties). Needless to say, you should be the first owner of the Helix to make use of the warranty, and you will need to be sure you keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
As long as you follow all of Helix’s expectations for use, your warranty is valid. That means you will need to have a proper base (no adjustable bed frames or slats more than 4 inches apart) and you don’t use the Helix improperly – no jumping on the bed!
If your mattress starts to show an indentation of 1″ or more, which is what usually happens when low-density foams break down, then you could be eligible for a repair or replacement of your Helix.

What’s The Best Way To Care For Your Helix?
Helix mattresses need no flipping, but it’s suggested that you rotate the mattress perhaps once or twice a year to keep it from wearing down from excessive sagging.
For routine cleanup, it is advised to use cool water with gentle dish soap to clean any stains or dirt. Be certain to wash using gentle circular motions, instead of rubbing.
